INTRODUCTION

The centre of Valencia allows us to take a journey along the history of the city from its foundation by the Romans in 138 a.C. up to modern day, including all the cultures that shaped it, such as Visigoths, Muslims and Christians, because every one of them left an imprint which has allowed us to become who we are and which is part of our Valencian identity.
