Requena is located in the interior, 65 km from Valencia, and has a long winemaking tradition. It is the capital of the prestigious designation of origin Utiel-Requena. A walk along its streets will allow us to learn about its past though its different districts:

La Villa: former Muslim city, declared Historic-Artistic Site.

Las Peñas: former Moorish district.

El Arrabal: modern zone, located in the old Jewish quarter.

It’s essential to visit one of their many wineries. In this area there are many different types of elaboration. We will walk among the vineyards, taste some of the best wines and also the typical cold cuts from Requena.


Requena is the Spanish municipality with the biggest vineyard area and the highest wine production.
